Live at Skarkali
About The Project
As Of Monsters and Men prepared for their world tour, we were invited into their studio to film an intimate live session. The idea was to capture the band in the space where the music is made, playing to a small room of friends and family instead of a festival crowd, and to give fans a closer look at the band just before they headed out on the road.
To keep the room free of clutter, we ran the shoot with a crew of just two. Several cameras were placed around the room, each positioned so it stayed out of the others' shots, and one roaming camera moved freely through the space to stay close to the band and the people watching. This setup gave us full coverage without breaking the atmosphere, and the result is a live session that feels both personal and polished, recorded at home just before the world tour began.
